  This popular little cafe has really terrific food. We especially like the smashed avocado, the potato rosti, and the chili scrambled eggs on toast. There is one issue, though. Both times we went there, we noticed the people around us seemed grumpy and dour. The staff also seemed on edge. The place is cute, with great food; so what's with the bad energy? Then it dawned on me. This place has good coffee and does busy takeout business with it. The barrista works near the front of the restaurant and has to whack the machine's handle on the counter to dump the coffee grounds out. It's a loud bang that happens very frequently, giving the feeling of being near a construction zone. But at least with a construction zone, you're aware of the annoyance from the loud noises that prevent you from talking. Here it's in the background and you don't consciously realize how much it's affecting everyone. If the restaurant could please fix this issue--there must be some quieter way to empty coffee grounds--this could be the happy, 5-star place it deserves to be.

  Short black takeaway at correct temperature. Staff friendly and went to the length of phoning the coffee roaster to find out that the blend is Yemeni, South African and Kenyan-sourced. Coffee had a "roasted coffee" flavour on the tip of the tongue from the start and midway presented a sweetness. I enjoyed it.

  LOVE this place!! Breakfasts to die for, super friendly staff, reasonably priced, kid friendly (we even got a free cookie because it was chipped!). Great selection of foods (including healthy options) and simply a joy to visit. You won't regret going here!

  The food is very good but they asked me for leaving the place because people were waiting a table. I had been 1 hour in the venue using my laptop for work. I understand that is a peak season but because of that you should put more tables. I'm traveling around Australia and it's the first time that someone asks me for leaving a venue, I'm so disappointed, you don't seem Australian people.
  I reply you: We were two people, so we paid for two breakfast and the staff asked me for leaving the venue not for moving on to an smaller table.I'm not ignorant ,I've been traveling around the country so I didn't expect that. That's all good, good luck!
